We love this restaurant but it was not a good night for food, service or hospitality. I state this sadly. First we requested if possible a corner spot at the bar since tables were not available. We got there, it was not busy and it was denied senselessly by the hostess. Second , I asked for a drink with specific Rye, one the bar person had and he made a mistake. I chose not to waste and did send back. I ordered the halibut that had Pumpkin, mushroom hash of sorts. The pumpkin was hard. The people next to me had the carrots, same. It’s New Year’s Eve and this defines why I rarely go out on a New Years. Disappointed

flower shop is one of our favorite restaurants, we have not been in three or four months so I decided to check and see if I could get us in for New Year’s, the day before… Well surprised they got us in, we had a wonderful dinner, and a great experience. Our server was Pitch Perfect with the amount of attention and information. Our second bottle was an incredible Tannat from Uruguay. One of the most eclectic wine list you will find, always has several winners. I’m in the wine business and find one or two new great wines a year here. Just one of our favorites!

Caesar salad was great. Scallops with English pea risotto was just ok. Dinner was served literally about two minutes after the salad, which was not ideal. We felt like we were being rushed. Service was only fair. Doubt if we’ll go back.

We had the BEST time at flour shop. The service was unparalleled. The server said they ran out of the two wines we suggested, and brought us a different one but kept the original price of the bottles we were looking at. So nice. And he was incredibly attentive. It was a fantastic meal out and highly recommend! We ordered a bunch of pasta dishes, the sea scallop risotto and lamb chop. All excellent.

We ate here for the first time on our anniversary. The appetizers, pasta, main entree, and dessert were incredible! Our server, John, was friendly, courteous, and attentive, and the entire staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome! We will definitely be back!
