   I love Fogo De Chao. I’ve been here many times. I do NOT recommend for thanksgiving. We waited an hour after our reservation time to get seated and the service was the worst I’ve ever received.

   This is my 3rd time in this FDC location, so this is a fair review and not a one time thing. Background, I’ve been to other FDC locations, mostly in LA and Vegas, and had a wonderful experience each time. Everytime we visit this location I expected the same level of experience but I always end up disappointed. I’ll rank the experience worst to best: 1. The worst part is online reservation vs actual wait. Everytime I book a reservation, I always end up waiting 30 mins to an hour in this location. The hosts/hostesses in the front can only do so much when the restaurant overbooks themselves. There isn’t enough seat in the front for everyone to sit or wait. So it ends up being crowded. Not once did the manager on duty check or help the front desk on the over 1 hr wait we were there despite coming on the time of our reservation. 2. The food, specifically in this location (20-40% of the meats) are dry or bland. There are some that are so good that it makes you to ask for more :D 3. Ambiance: noisier than most. 4. Staff: everyone was very nice, but the youngerthe staff the more unprofessional they get. No bad interactions with me but I’ve seen things that isn’t for me to write about (only in this location). 5. Location: in downtown Bellevue, and has decent to plenty of parking I recommend for people to try this place during a non-peak season or time like 2 pm on a Tuesday for a better experience but never on dinner time, on a weekend or during a holiday.

   The food was really good, and the staff was nice but also very busy - but it was Thanksgiving so no surprise with that. I think this is a great place for those who plan to fully embrace the market bar, and harder for those who want a simple side salad or similar a la carte veggie options to add to the amazing variety of meat. The lighting is too bright inside, and the center area of the restaurant has so many tables close to each other it could be overwhelming for some. Still, a fun place to check out and gather for the right event!

   We were no seated for our 4:00 pm reservation until 4:30. Table service was excellent from each member of the staff.

   As regular visitors to Fogo de Chão, we’ve come to expect a high standard of service and hospitality. Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Bellevue location was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment we were seated, it felt as though we were invisible. No one came to check on us for an unacceptably long time. We had to flag down staff repeatedly, only to be met with indifference and a lack of urgency. The most absurd part? When we requested their fried cheese with honey—a signature item—we were told, “We’re limiting the amount of cheese we serve.” In an all-you-can-eat restaurant, this response is both ridiculous and unacceptable. Limiting items completely undermines the concept of what diners are paying for and expecting. Adding to the frustration, the bathrooms were filthy. Not just untidy, but outright dirty. It’s shocking to see such a lack of attention to basic cleanliness in an establishment that markets itself as fine dining. While we’ve always enjoyed the food at Fogo de Chão, this experience was overshadowed by the poor service and lack of cleanliness.    Great experience at Fogo de Chao. One negative is that we had a 7:45 PM appointment and weren’t seated until 8:30 PM. Not a knock to the staff as the service was great. Fogo corporate needs to consider implement where they limit the amount of reservations and/or walk-ins so that the staff doesn’t get overwhelmed and that the wait for reservations aren’t that long.

   They are too crowded to offer quality service. Seated after one hour past our reservation time. They try and the staff is great. Family of 4 for a special occasion with our own bottle of wine was left more to be desired. Meat was mostly overcooked and wait staff took 25-30 to even bring a carafe after offering. Overall you can’t go wrong with the food experience but it’s fighting for attention most cod the time.

    Fogo seems to have over sold on reservations on this particular Saturday night, which was the one before Thanksgiving. While understandably busy, it is on the restaurant to manage reservations appropriately. Reservations were running behind 30 minutes and that is just not acceptable. Front reception giving incorrect wait times to grumbly guests, making them grumblier. Confusing signage of which line to wait in was also not helping. Kitchen seemed to have trouble keeping gauchos with good meat on the floor but at least you could ask your server and they’ll send someone over. Server did her best and gauchos too but overall experience tonight was below our usual experience at Fogo.
