   We went to celebrate my birthday. At no time it was even acknowledged (Info was added to reservation). The food was okay, my husband had to request wine every time. Never offered. It was our first time and we were kind of lost. In the past we celebrated at DC Prime and it made us feel special.

   Superb selection from the bar and the meats were cooked to perfection. We love coming back every Christmas Day.

   Absolutely terrible experience on Christmas Day. At the start, the server, Robinson, never inquired about cocktails, kept pushing for us to order. I had to tell him to take our drink order and circle back on food selections. I inquired about the sea bass. He swore up and down how freaking fabulous it was. I ordered it. It was awful. I told him. It fell on deaf ears. Another person in my party couldn’t stomach her salmon. We had to get up, find an employee, and ask for the gauchos to stop by for our party members who were eating meat. I started wondering if Robinson was clueless or his English was so poor he did not grasp what we were telling him- that we were not enjoying our food. We left 3/4 of the food behind. Salad bar ingredients were empty at times. Had to keep checking back. Robinson never asked if we wanted dessert. I had to pose the question as to what is on the dessert menu. Then, at the end of this horrible meal, we were presented with ONE check when we were three separate parties. We shared that piece of information at the start of our meal… again, is the server clueless or struggles with English? They initially refused to separate the checks. I asked to speak with a manager. Nobody ever came to speak with us. The server just showed up with 7 checks when it should have been three. What in the world is going on with this place?! Never once did anyone, not a manager, not a single server or our server, ever stop by to check on us during our meal. We had to even track down somebody to get us cocktail refills. HOT MESS! Absolutely terrible experience!!! Waste of $$! Won’t be going back!

   Service was fantastic. Food was good. It was hard to hear the wait staff as it was very noisy within the restaurant

   Some of the meat was supposed to be med rare, it was rare to just seared, under cooked for sure

   The restaurant did not handle dinner rush very well. People with reservations ended up waiting 50 minutes to be seated. The quality control on the meats seemed to be lacking as well as a result where meats would be over seasoned and under seasoned. Would recommend avoiding any busy dates and times.

   It's too many people but not enough servers to server in the weekend. We had to wait for a long time for water refills and the food. The food also a bit salty as well.

    The hostess struggled to find our name on the reservation list. She asked me to find it for her and then didn't sit us at a table for two off to the side like I had requested for our special night. She put us in the center of the crowd at a 4 top. However after asking the waiter for help, the manager was able to come over and get us seated in a section like I wanted. The food was excellent but I really wanted my cocktails and appetizer before having the meat served. My card was red too but it kept coming. I like to eat my appetizer before the main course comes, otherwise the food was amazing and the service very attentive. Overall, rocky start but it smoothed out by mid-experience. I'd definitely come back but tell the staff my expectations before service begins.
