   This is an absolute gem. The food is cooked to perfection, the value for such high-end produce superb, and the service is attentive. Just can’t fault it. Fork is very special. Congrats to the team for making our first visit such a wonderful experience. We will be back. David Clarke Lewes

   We very much enjoyed our evening at Fork. Even though it was a quiet night (Tuesday in January) this intimate restaurant was warm and inviting. My partner and I were both pleased with our choices; each dish was well presented with imaginative flavours and textures. The service was just right, friendly and attentive but not intrusive.

   Dreamy neighbourhood restaurant in Lewes! We’ve had a wonderful lunch, the front of house team was warm and welcoming, Jack the Head Chef was so kind and came to our table to show us the menu and helped accommodate my wife’s dietary requirements, which is always reassuring. We’ve had a delicious aged sirloin steak cooked to perfection, with perfect wilted spinach, honey mustard roasted carrots and crunchy pillowy triple cooked chips!! A real treat!! The food is so well sourced and prepared with such craft, very good value! The ambience is calm and intimate, you can hear the tables around loving their experience. We will be back!

   The staff at Fork were very accommodating in regards to our dietary requirements. Particularly my low Fodmap diet. It would be useful in future to speak to the chef prior to attending ( at his suggestion) to make it even easier to be catered for. Thank you so much for a lovely meal x

   Excellent, friendly restaurant. Very attentive to particular dietary requirements. The chef spoke to us and explained how certain items could be adapted. We all enjoyed our experience.

   Took advantage of the January 3 courses for the price of 2, booking for lunch. Service was attentive and helpful but relaxed and un hurried. Food was on the whole very good. Disappointed with the venison arancini which was bland - I was going to make a comment (not a complaint) at the time, however the opportunity was taken over by our need to question the quality of the glass of wine which was not pleasant. There was no hesitation in offering a replacement of something else, although the waiter checked to bottle and agreed it was not right and a new bottle was opened. Pleased with the outcome and there was no awkwardness. I missed the opportunity to comment on the arancini. The rest of the meal was excellent - beautifully cooked fish and my partner had a hearty stew with local venison sausages. deserts were spot on - a chocolate vegan dish was notable. Well fed...thank you. Probably should go back for dinner

   Fork is a fabulous restaurant. The menu is modern , everything is prepared, cooked and presented wonderfully and the service is 1st class. And they had a special offer on lunch on the day we visited so already excellent value was even better! You’ve probably guessed that I am a fan and my friends are too now. Do go - you won’t regret it.

    A warm welcome from staff on a dreary day, set the tone an enjoyable, relaxed lunch The menu offered a good range of seasonal choices with generous portion sizes. Wine menu offered choices we’d not seen before and buyer to be commended We had a one year old with us and staff were very accommodating which meant we all relaxed and had a wonderful post Christmas meal Will return next time we visit Lewes
