Absolutely delightful from start to finish! In Palm Desert the French Rotisserie Cafe is our favorite restaurant that we have to visit anytime when we come for a visit. I had one of the daily specials which was a French Cassoulet with Duck Confit on top and it was absolutely delicious! My husband had a delightful, seafood combination, served in a puff pastry shell and he said it was wonderful. For dessert, we shared a wonderful apple tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. The service was impeccable as always, and we’d like to say thank you to everyone for such a lovely evening.

Wonderful dining experience from the moment you walk in. Professional pleasant staff, beautiful room, our fine dining favorite restaurant in Palm Desert trip. Wonderful French bread with herb butter, chicken pate (savory sweet and with a touch of cognac), French onion soup, roasted chicken (liked the Dijon mustard sauce over the green peppercorn), Brussels great, best French fries ever! Creme brûlée yummy! And all really reasonably priced with easy parking! Highly recommend.

The service was awfully slow. I don't think the food was as good as it has been in the past. We had a lamb shank and duck. The lamb portion was huge while there was only one pirece of duck (Thigh and leg). The escargot was barely warm and they must have run out of the regular serving pieces as they were just placed on a saucer with minimal garlic butter. I will chalk this ups as an anomaly from what has always been one of the better restaurants in the valley.

It was Christmas Eve and a prefixed menu. The food was excellent, but slow coming. They were very short of staff. Will try again on a non holiday.

Fabulous authentic French home-cooking, served in a beautifully designed room that is casually elegant. Gave 4 stars for service only because there was a wait for the main courses—but the restaurant was packed and the end result was well worth the minor inconvenience. I lived in France for a year in my younger days; the French Rotisserie Cafe is the real deal. Can’t wait to go back!

Our first time dining here. We came early for dinner and restaurant was empty. By 6:45 it was packed. Service was outstanding, food was delicious.
