“Fresko” meaning “fresh” inspires our creation of seasonal menus made from locally sourced ingredients. Fresko makes natural food from the bounty of Iowa farms whenever possible. The culinary team prepares product from start to finish applying natural time honored techniques with care at every step. This enriches the flavorful and nutritious product we serve and benefits our community. Fresko believes we are what we eat and eating well means living well.

Fresko features a splendid assortment of original cocktails with a deep spirits menu and a beer program with sixteen beers on tap in addition to bottles and cans. Fresko's wine menu focuses on quality selections at a great value to our guests.

The service was great. Ordered a couple of entrees that missed the marked. Ordered the filet medium and the first cut seemed to be good but the further into the steak it got rarer and rarer. Ultimately, I think it was a warm rare. There was minimal flavor at that point. Another dish was the walleye. I thought it would be right up my flavor profile with the ingredients but the fish was overcooked and tough. Ordered desserts that were excellent.

My only disappointment tonight was that I had asked through OpenTable specifically that we be located as close to the front door as possible since my dinner companion had difficulty walking with a cane. So instead, we were seated on the opposite end of the restaurant other than that it was absolutely the great food I have experienced before, and the service second to none.

The beet & goat cheese salad was served with an appropriate dressing serving, not drenched. The flank steak was excellent, the double bone chop was superior. Bar selections were average.

Getting a reservation was super easy and they were able to accommodate a large group with little notice. The ambiance was amazing and the food was even better!

We had a lovely brunch today after a long flight into town. The food was delicious, served very quickly and wonderfully presented. Our server was friendly and engaging. We were even able to sit in a booth to watch Hawkeye football. Highly recommend for people who are looking for healthy, delicious, gluten free options.
