Wonderful food and wonderful service! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Each plate was flavorful with a beautiful presentation. Several of us ordered the borscht as a first course and we all enjoyed it.

We very much enjoyed our visit; it is a good place to get a reasonably priced meal that was tasty and well prepared. It is especially convenient before a show at Playhouse Square, because the waitstaff is mindful of time constraints and accommodating of diner’s schedules. The food was good and the half carafe of wine a bargain. The portions are reasonable sized, so you can enjoy an appetizer, meal and dessert without being so stuffed you’ll want to sleep through a show!

The salad with blue cheese and sugared nuts was excellent - elements well balanced. The pork roulade was flavorful, but mine was very fatty - I left about 30% of it on my plate. The server told me the fat level can vary. The desserts were not great. Our server was very good and I was pleased to see there is a lot of seating there, because so few restaurants in the Playhouse Square are any good. The visual appeal of the place is good. Service of the food was fast which was good for us.

We had a 3:30pm reservation in a Sunday during the Film Festival so it was not crowded (they had just opened). We opted to sit at the bar and John, our server was attentive, friendly and got everything to us quickly. We ordered the Pissaladiere which was excellent! Flavorful thin crust with sautéed, (not carmelized) onions, garlic, Kalamata olives, fresh anchovies (just a hint) roasted red peppers. The Spinach and Goat Cheese “pancake” was very good too although it was thicker, more like a tart. Will go back again to try an entree.

This was my first time dining here and my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a supper before seeing a show at Cleveland Play House and it was a prefect location for a pre-show supper. Great food, good service, and very convenient location. We'll definitely go back.
