Gaba was created by people who love food and all the experiences generated through it. Our main philosophy is continuous transformation, we believe that as we acquire experience and knowledge what we create changes and expands. Our menu does too. We honor the seasons, respecting the cycle of ingredients and source locally, focusing on the quality of the product and the passion of the team that transforms it. Our goal is to be a place where you can experience joyful connection around the table. Our atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making you feel comfortable and at home. We offer delicious cocktails and a varied and interesting wine selection to compliment your experience. We are also open for morning coffee and breakfast.
Executive Chef & Partner, Victor Toriz has worked throughout his career in Bestia LA and Here's looking at you. He decided to return to Mexico where he worked for Arca Tulum and Emilia CDMX. Gaba is his first project located in Condesa.

    La comida buenísima, el lugar muy caro y no servían los baños. Y al final, se les inundó la planta baja porque se les rompió una tubería. Y nunca fueron honestos con la situación

    The food here was inventive and so delicious. Recommend the chicken liver pate and pork tomahawk. The chef was super lovely and stopped by most tables to check in and say hello. 10/10 would go back to try other menu items.

    The waiter recommended every single expensive bottle of wine which turned me off and tried to persuade us against trying the Mexican Sauvignon. That left a bad taste in my mouth. He also insisted plates we ordered were too small. we loved the beets but the sea bass we ordered is u like sea bass we get on the East coast and we did not like the texture .

    Cool space and creative menu. Unfortunately, my wife became sick 6 hours after eating dinner there. My wife (who is Mexican and a Nurse) became violently sick 6 hours after dinner at GABA. We had not eaten anything since breakfast (at the Ritz-Carlton). The timing suggests it was probably the clams in green curry at GABA. I called GABA the next day to let them know. They replied that no one else complained and whether I wanted the name of a doctor. I am a Full Professor at a leading Medical School and I did not find that response helpful. Dinner at GABA ended up being very costly. The next day and evening were ruined for my wife, which was our last day in Mexico City).
