The glass-fronted restaurant offering diners sensational sea views and a brand new dining experience in Dumfries and Galloway is the latest addition to Laggan, the rural destination of excellence near Gatehouse of Fleet. Gather will provide visitors and locals with delicious bistro style meals.

Gather will be open Thursday - Sunday from 8.30am. Last food orders being at 2.30pm.
Wednesday lunch only 12noon - 2.30pm
Closed Monday and Tuesday.

    The staff were very welcoming, our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and food arrived quickly after order. We were not rushed and we were able to enjoy our breakfast at our own pace, enjoying the food, atmosphere and beautiful views.

    Lunchtime meal for, consisting of 2 veg. burgers, 2 lasagne, 1 monkfish and 1 flatbread - all great quality. Weather was a bit dreich outside, but a good atmosphere inside.

    1st time at Gather from a glowing recommendation. And, a brilliant recommendation it was too. Fantastic place, fantastic view, fantastic service and fantastic food. Overall, I can't recommend Gather enough!

    Our meal for 3 was very enjoyable. Staff were attentive, friendly and happy to help. They mentioned that our booking was to celebrate a birthday which connected with the information given on booking. Lovely surroundings, with an amazing view. Well worth a visit.

    We’ve eaten in Gather many times since it opened and it’s beautiful. The staff are fantastic and welcoming. The food was just ‘ok’ this time. My husband’s lamb flatbread was just a pizza and a small one at that. My sausage and mash was tasty. The kids had Mac and cheese. The last time my daughter had it, she declared it the best she’d ever had. This time is was disappointing - lacking flavour and without enough sauce. We wouldn’t rush back.
