A true reflection of how wonderful our evening at Gather was, is my husband Mike's reaction. He was not excited about the evening ahead of time. But the minute we arrived at the beautiful home and we were greeted SO warmly by Sarah, Shelly and every other person present, his entire mood was transformed. He's been reading off the menu we took home to everyone he speaks to, even his business associates in the Bay Area and down the valley.
Each dish from the personal charcuterie board (the board itself made by the sommelier Cody from wood salvaged on the ridge in Paradise) to dessert was an incredible tasting experience, as well as a journey and story not only of the food from farm to table, but Sarah and her families lives.
8 courses of heaven!
