   Oh my gosh! What a magical place to visit at Christmas time! The ambience is off the chart! The decor, the staff, the food…absolutely everything was just amazing. I can’t wait to come back for Sunday brunch! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fun night with a great historical building and fabulous, everything!

   This was our first visit and it will definitely not be our last! The holiday decor was amazing, the ambiance was so intimate, the food was outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about it. Highly recommend!

   Loved the vibe beautiful holiday decorations all through the restaurant. We went for brunch, the quiche with salad was great! Service was fast and courteous. Highly recommend!

   Definitely a must this holiday season! The Christmas decor and food were excellent. The only negative is that they didn’t put us in the champagne garden with all the festive decorations and there was hardly anyone in there. I would definitely ask to sit in there. We will be going back!

   Geist is a Nashville staple that my husband and I love dearly. We recently had a baby and planned a date night here as it has been a year since we’d been back. We were so excited to go back and have a night out together since we hadn’t in nearly a month. Though the food was exceptional, as always, we were very caught off guard as we checked in for our reservation when the host let us know that we had exactly one hour and 30 minutes to dine as another table had a reservation at that table. We found that to be very off putting but because we love Geist and this was a thoughtfully planned date night, we stayed. Upon getting seated, our server greeted us and immediately said, “I’m sure they let you know this at the front, but you have a time limit of an hour and a half as we’ve gone viral on TikTok so we’re booked with reservations.” Again, very off putting. Again, the food was wonderful as always, but after that experience and feeling like we were being rushed out of the door, we aren’t sure we will return. I hope this review makes you take a step back and think about how you are treating your loyal customers moving forward, regardless of how busy and booked you are.

    Pretty disappointed. This used to be a Nashville go-to for me. Tonight was loud, crowded, and the waitress told us when we walked in that we had an hour to finish because they had another booking coming in. We felt rushed and weren’t able to enjoy it like we typically do. For the amount we spent, I would sincerely appreciate not feeling like we were on an assembly line. Do better, Geist.
