   Our server Elijah was excellent. However, other servers would initiate help if needed. Nice team effort. Great decor and views. Banana oreo dessert was memorable/ great…. and I don’t love bananas. Steak was phenomenal.

   Our Sunday afternoon lunch was legendary. In addition to the creatively prepared dishes, our server, Cris, guided us through the menu with ease. His polished delivery was as clear as the 5 star view of the city!

   An Unforgettable Dinner at Gibsons Italia! We had a fantastic evening at Gibsons Italia! The food was outstanding – we enjoyed the lobster, wagyu tartare, prosciutto, crab, diverse pasta dishes, and the Chicago cut steak. Everything was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The champagne and red wine complemented our meal perfectly. The service was impeccable, and the beautiful river views made the experience even more special. We can’t wait to return!

   Excellent lunch for our out of town guests. Impressive view, attentive staff, and the always outstanding Gibson food quality. Our party ranged in age from 70 down to 12 and the service team made everyone feel comfortable and pampered!

   I originally ordered the king crab bisque at 12:12pm and they had already run out of the bisque for the day. They open at 11am. Most of the menu items were geared towards dinner so I had very few options for lunch as I wasn’t in the mood for wagyu steak, burgers or pasta. I was hoping for a few more seafood lunch options (crab cakes, scallops a designated shrimp option). So I asked for grilled prawns in lieu of the chilled prawns on the menu and they were able to accommodate the request. Though when it came out, the prawns were charred instead of oven roasted/grilled. I wasn’t sure if that was how it was supposed to be or not. Additionally we were seated right by the elevators and entrance instead of inside the heart of restaurant. Overall this experience made a tough day worse when all I wanted to do was catch up with a colleague over lunch. I’ve give this experience a “meh.” Not the worst but I’ve certainly had better.

   We were celebrating my boyfriend’s and friend’s birthdays. The place is stunning, offering a great view, and it’s a must-try when visiting Chicago. We are visiting from Minnesota and were very impressed. The food was amazing—everything from the drinks to the desserts was great and delightful. However, the service was even more impressive. Our server, Caitlin, went above and beyond; she was very polite and a true professional. We would definitely come back and 100% recommend this place.
