   We were thrilled to find that the food was just as good as we remembered it from the “old” days of F, J, & L. The pizza was perfection-delicious crust. Generous and fresh salads, yummy cheese bread, very nice minestrone with tortellini in it. Can’t wait to go back and try some other menu items.

   Food was excellent, I had the Caesar salad (generous portion), shrimp scampi (shrimp a good size, interesting rice, excellent vegetable mixture) and finally the sundae. Glass of CA Savig Blance was very good. Small seating area indoors, large outside dining area in a tent. Attentive service.

   Inside seating was limited otherwise everything else was great! The service was so good. We had a birthday celebration and they took care of the cake we brought. Definitely a do over.

   We were very happy to see Giorgio (formally FJ&L) back. If you were looking for that old style Italian restaurant….gone, but with the new look, we liked the atmosphere. We sat in one of their end tables indoors with one side was a booth, very comfortable. All the tables were filled and because we sat at the end, we thought the noise level was fine. We were a party of 3 with reservations at 6:45. Parking was easy. The pizza is still as delicious as we remembered. We customed ordered a small pizza: sausage, mushrooms, onions, & green peppers. There were plenty of fresh toppings with a nice Sicilian crust. For one of the entrees, one guest ordered shrimp scampi which was delicious and nicely plated. It was nice to dip your garlic roll in the sauce. The clam spaghetti was not edible. They were tiny clams that tasted like they were from a can over sea even though there was a few clams that were in the shell. The guest chose the wine broth which seemed tasteless. It needed more garlic and flavor, maybe fresh chopped Italian parsley. Recipe needs to be reinvented maybe with fresh Manila clams. We have had many clam vongole and this was probably the worst. Overall, we enjoyed two out of the three meals. It was nice that our waiter comped the clam spaghetti. However, we were a little taken when he mentioned that this dish has never had a complaint. (It’s best nothing said then throwing the ball back to our court.)What were we supposed to say?!? We would definitely come back to try the other dishes and the wonderfully delicious pizzas. We were sad to see that our old favorites like the veal and the chicken farfalle wasn’t on the menu any more. But maybe in the future. Enjoy!

   A nice experience overall with the ambiance, service & quality of food. Only observation for improvement was lack of either having condiments on table or wait staff asking if we needed it (olive oil for bread, parmigiana cheese, ketchup for fries). Definitely want to go back to dine in outdoor patio. Also nice to have bar stool counter for drinks or meals.

   Love this place! We're New Yorkers and one item that's hard to find around here is the Calzone, a "pizza-type"specialty, but the stuffing ("toppings" which you may choose like a pizza) are packed into dough bundle, think egg roll or burrito but larger, baked, not fried. Hubby , the calzone king said it was just right! Little easier to eat than a pizza also. I, as usual, had the delicious Chicken Parmigiana. It is served with pasta and spinach, but I asked for mixed vegetables, no pasta. No problem. They are very flexible about small changes. Their wines are excellent also, along with great dessert options.

   Staff are nice and friendly, and got the kids drinks ready quickly. We got pastas. Prices are reasonable. It was just quite cramped and the food is more homey/diner style. Maybe good to just grab a meal with the family but not for impressing anyone. We were glad to finally try this long time Mountain View establishment.

    Newly reopened restaurant with a wonderful open air dining area available. Very good and friendly service. The Cacciucco was very good and included fresh clams, prawns, calamari, shrimp & white fish simmered in natural juices with a light tomato broth over spaghetti al dente and garlic toast. The Chicken Marsala had medallions of chicken sautéed with garlic, shallots and mushrooms, and green onion served in a marsala demi-glaze with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetable aglio olio. Both dishes had balanced tastes and were presented well.
