   We had a great timing dining at Giovedi. The food and the service were both excellent and we’re looking forward to going back to try more of the menu. The flavors are a mix of French, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese influence. The portion sizes are reasonable so you can try many things on the menu. The non alcoholic Skyliner drink was also great!

   The latest review before our visit said the portion is too small but in fact they were just right (too my wife it was little too much but I cover her) Even the steak was not tiny like one review said. It was pretty reasonably priced for the quality. The reason for the 4 star is even though we requested the quieter table we were seated right next to a round table of 8 or 9 girls who were screaming time to time.

   Didn’t appreciate not being seated until all three guests arrived. Two of our three arrived first and we were asked to sit in a cramped bar area. No good. Food portions size to cost was just plain silly. Ordered the Denver steak ($48) and literally had to put on reading glasses to know what was being served. So little steak! Spaghetti ($26) was the same issue - the serving was, in reality, a third of an actual serving. The gnocchi was good, but again, the size of the portion relative to price ($36) was disappointing. We ordered 7 or 8 dishes between three diners and went home hungry with a $400 bill. (I literally almost laughed out loud when we were asked by the server (who was very nice) whether we were too stuffed for desert). I will not be in any rush to return. For the price, there are far better dining options in Honolulu.

   The food and ambiance were wonderful and the service was excellent. The drinks were delicious, as well. I would eat there again and highly recommend it.

   Delicious food, amazing experience overall! Me and my other half went two weeks in a row to get our fix of their special Big Island Veal Tatar topped with Parmesan cheese and north Italian black truffle shavings. We also enjoy their cocktails, the Strawbroni, Hennessy-colada, and Vietnamese coconut milk espresso martini. The wonderful staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed from the moment you step in!

   Came here for a family dinner , none of us had been here before . We were seated outside and it was pleasant ambiance . Tony was our waiter and he was passionate about the menu. We enjoyed every dish : Hokkaido rolls , char Siu pork, Dungeness crab cappelini , prosciutto , truffle donburi , black and white crispy rice , egg noodle pasta . Each dish was inventive and fun to eat although portions are small . We throughly enjoyed every item but the service is very slow and good thing we were not in a hurry as it took us 3 hours for dinner and we had no dessert. Was a little disappointing they had no complimentary birthday dessert but we enjoyed the inventive menu , each dish interesting and well executed .
