Such a beautiful venue, which will come into its own in the Summer. Great service, great music and loved the chilli margarita cocktail! Would like to return for dinner as closes very early on a Sunday when we were there, but we will be back!

Booked to go for a roast, not realising even though roasts where on the website, they'd stopped them. Limited choices of mains. Food is ok, probably a bit pricey for what it is. Great location though

We decided to eat at the Glasshouse after a recommendation from a friend. We specifically booked on a Sunday for the roast lunch which looked excellent from the menu online, however when we arrived we were given a brunch menu and on enquiry, were told the roasts had stopped as of the Friday before. This was very disappointing and I think we should have had some communication about this. We would have left and found somewhere else to eat but at 1:30pm we would not have gotten in anywhere else. The food we had was excellent (buttermilk chicken burgers and chorizo hash) as was the service but the choices were very limited (breakfast on a Sunday lunchtime is odd) and most non-breakfast options seemed very overpriced. Unlikely to visit again.

Hi there, I wanted to let you know what my thoughts are about my experience last Friday and the glass house. I am always worried about eating out as I have a some allergies / intolerances (gluten and dairy) but super excited to find something on the menu I could eat. I came here for the first time in January for my husbands birthday brunch and I had the ham hock with cabbage hash with egg on the top. The portion was a good size and it was £11 good value for money I was very excited about this place as it’s in a wonderful location. The second time I came I had the same food but it was half the size so disappointing. I came for drinks a few other times in between. Last Friday I came as I’d been raving about it to my parents so brought them. I was very disappointed to see that the menu had changed and it didn’t have my ham hock hash which was delicious. I couldn’t see anything else I could have now. I am also mainly Ketogenic (no carbs) apart from potatoes but there are only very heavy carbs/ chips/ bread options on the menu. I ordered a chicken and bacon club sandwich which was £14 and gave the chips to my dad and took the filling out so I had a small salad. I would love a salad on the menu with some slaw or something or even better bring back the ham hock hash which was delicious! Also disappointed into see the the hash was now £15. Anyway I’ve gone from loving this place to feeling disappointed and i expect I’m not the only one. I hope to find something else on your menu next time. I would have tried the hash but not a lover of black pudding or crab.

Food was lovely but the menu is very limited, especially for vegetarians and children. Service was very friendly but slow. Waited an hour and 40 minutes for food with three young children.

The service was really slow, not sure what happened but we waited 25 minutes for our drink order after sitting down which were only coffees, and then a further 47 minutes after the drinks arrived for our food, we arrived at 10:25am for Sunday brunch so not the height of Sunday lunch. We ask to speak to the manger and we were informed that our food was going to be another 10 minutes. I suggested maybe start telling other diners that there is a going to be a delay in ordering their food, and we witnessed another four tables complaining about the waiting of their food. When the food arrived it wasn't as good as the first time we went, I feel they are still having massive staffing problems which is a great shame for the staff that were working as they all looked completely lost and were running around just trying to cope, yet still allowing more and more tables to be sat. A massive disappointment, and will not be returning, and over heard a few tables discussing the same on the way out.
