Amazing service, atmosphere, and food. Was blown away by how fresh the sushi was. There is limited seating so definitely make a reservation in advance. We loved the open kitchen and bar concept. We ordered the Fu-Dog and Kasa-Obake to drink, both were delicious. To eat, we had the edamame, the crispy tuna rice, the gyoza, the udon noodles, and the spicy scallop and salmon and avocado roll. All were amazing. Would 10/10 recommend coming here for dinner and will definitely be back.

Didn’t love the set up. When I made the reservation it wasn’t clear that we wouldn’t be at a table and we were there for a birthday dinner. Our waiter wasn’t very good. The food was delicious but it was very expensive. The chef was super friendly we wish he was our waiter.

So this is a bit of a mixed review… Specifically in regards to the chef’s tasting menu presented for valentine’s day weekend. For 150$ a person we were SHOCKED that there was no regular drink menu offered. Mind you several resos here in my history and no issues with the standard day to day offerings and menu it’s always fantastic! Not big on wine or beer whatsoever and the only offering was 75$ for SEVEN drinks. Who drinks 7 beverages with their dinner regardless of alcohol content??? Not us. If we had chosen that we definitely wouldn’t have been able to finish the 7 course dishes, not a chance. The food was delicious as usual, but the limited offerings was a real bummer for our evening especially for the price. We have previously dined at Umi who offers a 7 course omakase for 95$ and in my opinion the quality is way better for a fraction of the cost. I would love to grab seats at another tasting menu at GG if there was even just a limited cocktail menu offered 3-4 drinks, not everyone wants to have 7 cocktails with a single meal and the only other option beer/wine. I would have even loved to purchase one of the exclusive drinks from the list at whole price as 7 drinks for 75$ is relatively cheap. I would to see some updates and changes for this experience with the cocktail situation considering the price for future otherwise we will just be sticking to the regular dinner service. Again no knocks on the food everything was superb, but being used to their normal cocktail menu (also amazing) and then the only option with liquor presented 7 full size drinks (the people next to us had them they were all typical cocktail glasses) I just expected better.

We went for the Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was thoughtful, the drinks were creative, the service was attentive, and the ambience was electric as a result.

The aesthetic was unmatched, it’s more of an intimate setting which was really nice for our small group. Our server was very sweet and explained the menu when we had questions. I loved the sushi, it was so fresh! The gyoza was amazing and the Karage was seasoned perfectly! I will definitely be back!
