Great experience on 12/20/24, especially with our server DeAngelo. He was attentive and fun. Very disappointed that the legacy kale Caesar salad is no longer on the menu—bring it back, please! Also would love to see a return of the bucatini all'amatriciana.

Had reservations and were sat next to the door and it was freezing..…lots of empty tables but I guess based on times they were not available? Acknowledged we were there for our anniversary and mentioned a special dessert for us after dinner. Goat cheese cranberry salad was great, calamari was decent. Husband ordered chicken parm and chicken was burnt and spaghetti was overcooked. Bolognese was subpar…..service was good prior to entrees arriving. Dessert time came and no additional mention of special dessert…ordered the tiramisu and it was good. No other real pleasantries beyond would you like your check and thanks….I have been before with a much better experience

Normally gravy is very very good. This time not so much. Partly because we were seated in the last table by the door. There was a party in the courtyard and the temperature was cold outside so each time the door was open cold air rushed in. In addition, the door slammed shut every time with a loud bang. We enjoyed our group. The drinks were fine. The food was fine, except one person, maybe it was the end of the night, but she ordered meat lasagna, and it was very meatless with pasta, sauce and cheese. I’ve been before I probably will return but this meal was just OK.

My husband and I ate at Gravy a few nights ago. Love the ambience of the restaurant. The food was very good- my husband had the Tagliatelle Bolognese which he found very flavorful. I had the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara which had a lovely blend of pancetta and mushrooms in the sauce. The serving sizes were large and I enjoyed half of mine the next day. We also had the Risotto Balls for an appetizer which were crispy and delicious. We were fortunate to go on $4.00 draft nights which was a nice surprise. The service was good, but not outstanding. It did take a little while to get the food to the table and finished appetizer dishes were left on the table after our entrees arrived. All in all- we would definitely recommend and return. Look for on street parking though. It cost us 10.00 to park for less than two hours in the Fayetteville St garage across the street!

The ambience was pleasant and festive. We were seated immediately upon our arrival and greeted by our waitress. We received appetizer and drinks quickly but our meals took 25-30 minutes to arrive. When we were served dinner, the gnocchi and bolognese were delicious. The meatballs were non-descript and dry, little seasoning. The eggplant parmesan was salty and the pasta served with it was chewy. We will return but will likely not order staple Italian dishes.

The food was good, (e.g., fried calamari was cooked perfect), the wine excellent (I had the quattro mani montepulciano). One thing to note on the food, I tried the spaghetti alla carbonara despite it not being made in the traditional way. It tasted good but the spaghetti was over cooked. We made reservations through open table. About 20 minutes before our reservation time we got a text stating our table was ready. I replied to indicate we were on our way, however, when we got to the resturant they were surprised we were there early and did not have a table ready for us. We waited about 10 minutes then they sat us down a few minutes early. Not sure if this was a Gravy issue or an Open table issue? Decided to just let it go…. Overall we had a good night would go back again, might do a few things differently.

Gravy is one of our favorite Italian spots. We booked a reservation for 7:30 pm. We were celebrating my birthday. The food was yummy, as always. My issue is that it was COLD Saturday night. They sat us right by the door. We asked for another table. The hostess was rude about it and said there were no other tables. We noticed the other two-person parties coming in and were seated further back. Several did not have a reservation as I heard them if any tables were available. My husband and I ate with our coats on. Usually, we like to chat, have a few drinks, etc. We ate and left. Suggestion: If a person has a reservation, they should be comfortable. Also, if the weather is cold outside, maybe you shouldn't sit the tables up front or try to move them if possible. Disappointing birthday dinner. The only saving grace was good food!

We were looking for a restaurant with traditional Italian cuisine and this place fit that perfectly. They had a multitude of different sauces (gravies) along with an extensive wine list. I had the salmon and my wife had the gnocchi. She made gnocchi with her Mon growing up and loved their dish. Our wait was very nice and on her game. Thank you for a nice dinner.
