Gwen Butcher Shop & Restaurant is the second restaurant from fine dining chef Curtis Stone (of Maude) and the first he’s opened with his brother Luke Stone. Gwen is both a European-style, chef-driven butcher shop and a restaurant that is redefining dining in LA, with a menu that calls on fire-based cooking techniques. Whether you’re picking up house-made charcuterie, prime and rare breed meats from the retail store, enjoying a feast in the dining room or relaxing with a bite and cocktail at the bar, Gwen delivers the highest standards of quality, taste and service.

On Wednesdays-Sundays, we offer Chef's Carte Blanche 5-course tasting menu for $140 per person (limited quantities available). The whole party must enjoy the tasting menu and wine pairings are available for $90 per person. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the restaurant at 323-946-7500.

We visited Gwen for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary and chose the Chef’s Carte Blanche experience at the chef’s counter. The atmosphere was elegant, the food was outstanding, and the attention from both the chefs and service staff made it truly unforgettable. Had an amazing experience here. The food was incredible and the service from Erika was even better. She was sweet, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The charcuterie was one of my favorites along with the chicken liver mousse. We ordered so much food and we are so glad we got to try most of it. Erika recommended the velvet bee for my cocktail and wow, was it tasty! So were rest of the cocktails we tried but this stood out to me. Overall, our whole group had a fantastic experience and there wasn’t a dish we didn’t like. Thank you!
