    The price is not worth the food! Although the food was good and tasty, it was way too expensive. I paid $250+ for 4 people, availing of the premium all-you-can-eat menu. The choices were good and had a good variety. The meats were fresh and flavorful. But we definitely didn’t eat $250 worth of food. I’m not going to recommend this restaurant because it’s too expensive.

    Food was good however the service was subpar. The server Mo barely checked in with us, forgot multiple things we asked for. He took forever to get us our checks, which would be understandable if they were busy which they weren’t really. Then once he dropped off the checks, they were incorrect and he disappeared so we had to go to a manager. This is honestly pretty disappointing since the previous visits have been nothing but great.

    We have visited Gyukaku many times and have enjoyed bringing all of our friends and family here many times over the years. The quality of service has declined in our last visits immensely. We visited on a quiet Wednesday evening; we were one of perhaps 4 tables seated at the restaurant. It still took our server 20 minutes to introduce himself and take drink orders after we were seated; we had to flag him down every other time throughout the night. Food was served to us slowly. I would say they appeared understaffed but there was no issue with the entire service staff trotting out to sing Happy Birthday to other tables no less than THREE times during our meal. If you are not going to have servers come around frequently, at least provide table buttons so we can summon them from where they're flirting behind the bar or sitting on their phones in a nearby booth.

    Reservation was on time. Food was good but not anything outstanding. Server was attentive. Could lose the chicken with pesto item.

    Food was excellent. Our server was really great. Gave us suggestions made recommendations and was overall very friendly and helpful. The ambience of the restaurant was perfect for a date night. Will be going back!
