   We were pleasantly surprised with the changes made at the restaurant. The new menu, attention to service and overall vibe are much improved. If you haven't been in a while give it a look. Highly recommend the chicken fried bacon and ribeye.

   We visited this establishment on 12/6/24 and our experience was okay. The food lacked flavor and my dish was cool. (Excluding the steak, which was delicious) The server Kori was great!

   We’ve lived in Birmingham for two years, but this was the first time we visited Habitat Food & Social at the Grand Bohemian. We chose it by their reputation and their Thanksgiving menu was close to our usual Thanksgiving meal. Upon arriving, the valet escorted us to the elevator to the restaurant which is separate from the hotel. The interior is well decorated with a variety of art, furnishings and decor creating a welcoming atmosphere of elegance and warmth. The restaurant has several dining areas. We were first seated in the standard dining room but asked to be moved to the lounge/bar room which offers an interesting view out the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the outdoor rooftop patio. There are also private rooms for larger parties. The meal was excellent beginning with cocktails, three courses with diner’s choice and a selection of wine by the glass. The food was very well prepared and flavorful. Of course, what is Thanksgiving dinner with leftovers, so the server gladly boxed up what was left from our generous portions. On a mildy overcast afternoon we had a delightful Thanksgiving dinner for two. This was enhanced by the attentive staff who provided friendly and timely service. The price was a little more than we usually spend on a nice dinner, but worth the cost. We look forward to stopping by more often, especially to enjoy the rooftop patio when weather permits or just to have cocktails or a light meal in the lounge. Highly recommend.

   We met for a family girls only breakfast, since it was the holidays. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. We never felt rushed, which was great since we were all catching up with one another. Highly recommend & will definitely be back! Thank you for a great breakfast.

   Thoroughly enjoyed brunch at Habitat Feed & Social! The food was delicious and the service was very good. Great ambiance and quiet. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   This is one of the more distinctive restaurants in town (located in one of the most distinctive properties). Food is interesting, well-presented and delicious. Tapas-sized portions are great for close friend/family groups. Patio is the best seating on a moonlit temperate night. A+

   Had dinner for 4 to celebrate a friends birthday. We ordered small plates - all were delicious and beautifully presented. What the table thought was “off” is that the small plates were fish or pork on vegetables with pan sauce- why in the world would you not (a) offer bread or (b) make it part of the dish? We ordered bread after the fact to sop up the delicious sauce on all plates ordered- Had to like actually stop the meal to order (not good for this level of dining). Averaged $50/person with beverages- looks like bread would be offered So overall delicious, service was ok, we’ll continue having problems with bread stinginess at these prices.
