   We chose to eat here for our son’s 17th birthday. We’ve never been to Nashville so we were really looking forward to it. I guess I got this place mixed up with another steakhouse we were looking at going to and booked the wrong reservation because the menu was disappointing. The burgers were good but my crab Mac & cheese had no flavor. I was looking for a salt shaker and couldn’t find one. Our server was severely lacking a personality. On the reservation I put that it was our son’s birthday. She didn’t make it special at all! Didn’t sing happy birthday and didn’t even offer us a complimentary birthday desert or anything which after tasting the food we didn’t even ask about it. I hardly ate any of my food. She didn’t even ask how it was. And the ToGo boxes are a complete joke. Very tiny little cardboard Chinese food to go box that holds very little. I didn’t take my left overs with me if that tells you anything. If we come back to Nashville it won’t be one of our must haves for sure!

   Atmosphere is great. Food is amazing. Our sever was knowledgeable, personable, and so very friendly.

   Service was slow and the food was inconsistent. Some of our food was really hot and some barely hot at all. Not what I’d expected from an “expensive” steak house.

   Always plan a dinner when we are in Nashville at the Hand Cut. Starting with the smoked old fashioned every time . Great drink. Food is always good no matter what we have ordered. Also like that they have live music and it’s not so loud you can’t even talk to one another.

   I would not go back. We were there for 2 hours for a birthday dinner and the waitress only came to our table twice the entire time. The food was cold when we received it. Overall terrible experience.

    We enjoyed a meal at Hand Cut prior to the concert. The food was above average. It’s a very nice atmosphere/ambience and the service was very good. The food is overpriced in my opinion ($40 for an 8oz salmon fillet with no sides included…seriously?). Overall we enjoyed our meal but will definitely look at other options for next time.
