    Food and service great as always. Live music was way too loud, which meant guests had to speak louder to hear each other. This has been one of my favourite local restaurants, a huge part being the low noise level in the last. The high noise level with the grand piano made for an uncomfortable evening. Was disappointed with this, and to know that this is an ongoing event for all dinners going forward. Will need to rethink where we go.

    Great Quality food and you don't go home hungry. You really get what you pay for. and there is a locals discount so make sure you ask!!!!

    Great high tea in a quaint, comfortable atmosphere. We had two little girls with us who got their own special kids high tea and felt like princesses.

    Service was terrible. Waited 40 minutes for a drink which we had to get up and ask them when they were bringing us our complimentary champagne and some table water. Half an hour after that, they then finally brought our food to our table. Our table was in the sun and the jam and cream had been sitting on the table since we had arrived. It was over an hour before we could actually use the jam and cream so had to ask for fresh cream as it had curdled in the heat. Trying to get another drink was then a mission as the staff never approached our table again. You think they would be constantly roaming around coming over asking if you would like your water refilled or if you wanted to order another drink if they saw your glass was empty. There were 3 people working on the floor that day too and the restaurant wasn’t busy that day. Food was nice. Although the hot food wasn’t hot when it had arrived to our table.

    For a fine dining restaurant the food was pretty average. The service was also average. The pianist was great though and created a nice atmosphere.
