    What an AMAZING INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! A++ all the way around. Our time at Hau Tree saved our overall views on dining in Hawaii. The two previous nights at the restaurants we dined at prior to coming to Hau Tree were abysmal, but Hau Tree was absolutely spectacular. The ambiance, the most delicious food, and most of all, our servers Jordan and Erin were the the best. To the owners, whatever you’re doing, keep doing it. You are the essence of Aloha. Dining at the Hau Tree was well worth the expense and we will be back every time we return to Hawaii. Thank you all for saving what had been the worst dining experiences at prior restaurants!

    We enjoyed the casual, relaxed atmosphere of this place, located at Kaimana Hotel. Our waiter was personable and checked in on our table regularly. We were probably the only patrons who were not guests at the hotel. The menu is pretty concise and prices are a little on the steep side, averaging $27 for a frittata or eggs benedict. My only grouse was that the food took a long time coming but that could be because the restaurant might have been busier than usual.

    Such a gem. Have come here often over the years. The brunch service on the beach is among the top 3 on the island. Fabulous setting and our waiter Rajah could not have been better. From the time we arrived and were so well taken care of by the valet and host till we left with good bye’s from our waiter and the smiles and thoughtful parking of the valet attendant, it could not have been a better experience. Without requesting we had the best table on the lanai, a cozy spot right on the beach front in the shade of a beautiful tree. The food we ordered was delicious, including the just-out—of-the -oven-baked perfectly right sized three pastry dish with great toppings. The pineapple guava one was unusual and divine with the banana bread, though I enjoyed it on others too. The coconut based sauce on the ahi with lettuce and taro chips was also amazing. Definitely highly recommend!!

    This was my first time to visit hau tree since it changed from hau tree lanai. The atmosphere is exactly the same, but they used be have more menu. Pancake was one choice and egg Benedict was different from before.

    The hotel needs a lot of work it is breaking down all over the place but you can't argue with the quality of the eggs benedict and you can't argue with the location and the vibe of old Honolulu.

    What a pleasant, relaxing way to start an otherwise busy Christmas weekend. Weather was picture perfect, food delicious, service inobtrusive but super efficient and friendly.

    Easy access from Waikiki hotels but the atmosphere is completely different from the busy tourist area. Less people on the beach in front of this restaurant and a few dogs are enjoying times with their masters. Of course, breeze is so fantastic. If you feel bit tired of noise of busy Waikiki traffic, Hau Tree could be a nice place to take a relaxed Hawaiian time.
