    Family and friends Christmas meal. Haven’t been to the Havelock for years, so it was a pleasant surprise to find it neat, tidy, smart and welcoming. Food good value, portion size was just right. Drinks choice extensive, so everyone was adequately catered for. Next time, I’ll invite my dog!

    Food very good and well presented.Staff friendly and attentive. Restaurant cold when we arrived just on opening and did not really warm up even with fire on. Would not prevent us going back.

    Food was excellent. But I was disappointed that the refurb had not included the toilets. One of the doors didn’t lock and they are generally in need of some TLC
