    This was our first visit to Helens. We remember it being written up some years ago. We drove from Charlottesville to have a good dinner out. We were VERY pleased. It is small intimate and the kitchen is exposed. All are good signs. Wait staff was great, not too much but just enough. The food was delicious. I had the bacon wrapped chicken and my husband had shrimp and grits both were excellent. We also had truffle fries and the roasted cauliflower. WE WILL BE BACK!

    The food was spectacular! The service started slowly, but improved. It was busy. We will definitely go back.

    The waitress was amazing. Just enough checking in to be helpful but not intrusive. The short ribs were to die for! The tamarind cocktail was perfect! Highly recommend

    Loved the menu and variety of choices. Specialty cocktails were fun and delicious. Roasted cauliflower was very good! Service was slow and scattered on this busy night.

    Fun, delicious, great service and always the food is great. Went for my wife’s birthday and they made it special as if we were the only ones dining. See you again soon! Long live Helen’s!

    I haven’t been to this restaurant in forever and it was as good as I remember it. Plus we enjoyed the lingering holiday decorations which were super fun!
