   Wow! Surely not enough good things to say about this place. We enjoy everything from our cocktails to our dessert. We got the chefs special six or seven course I think? And it was everything you could’ve asked for! We are very picky when it comes to the quality food and the places we spend our money and this was worth every penny. Thank you to the staff for everything! It will be back again. Much love!

   Wonderful food and overall experience. No wine list as well as no water glasses which seems odd for this calibre of restaurant. Would definitely go back though.

   If you’re in Sayulita and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Henshin is an absolute must. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Every single staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure our evening was perfect. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, creating a seamless and enjoyable experience. And the food? Simply outstanding. The menu was filled with creative and unique dishes that showcased an incredible balance of flavors. Each bite was better than the last. We tried several rolls and appetizers, all of which were fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The portions were generous—definitely not one of those places where you leave hungry. We left feeling full, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. Henshin exceeded every expectation. Incredible food, phenomenal service, and an atmosphere that made the entire evening memorable. Don’t miss out on this gem!

   We really enjoyed our dinner at Henshin. We opted for the Premium Omakase (they also have regular a la carte items). The food was amazing. Every piece of sushi that we ate was fresh and the flavors of each piece of fish really shined through. Some highlights for me include the futomaki roll that was loaded with fish and a drizzle of butter that wonderfully complementing the fish. The wagyu and unagi nigiri were also flavorful. The locally caught red snapper carpaccio on the seaweed and cucumber salad was also delicious. All the nigiri were well composed with some nice flavor surprises. When you don't need any soy sauce with your fish, you know you're in good hands. The staff were friendly and knew their fish. We were waited on by Head Chef Dani. Service was attentive and pleasant. The restaurant itself had a classy and unfussy decor with only 6 or 7 tables and a few seats at the indoor and the outdoor counters. It's located in the quieter part of Sayulita, away from the very touristy part of town. The food is solid. I would go back again.
