   Made a reservation so we had a good table. Ended up being put in the back area where the lights are bright, no music or ambience at all. Saw three sets of people come in and refuse to sit there…We should have done the same but felt bad for the server losing money, especially on a sat night.

   We had a great time at high tide steel yard. We always enjoy dining here. The service was excellent and so was the food. I love their enchiladas Del Mar. My husband had the salmon and said it was excellent. Our friends shared a salad and a sandwich.. It was a Saturday night. We had reservations for four people at 5:30. We got right in and service and food came out in a very timely manner. We did not have to wait for anything. I would highly recommend High Tide steel yard location.

   This was our first experience at this location for 3 couples celebrating 3 birthdays! We had some delicious cocktails and mocktails, along with a few cups of soup, sushi for our first course. Next, we all had different seafood entrees for our main course: Chilean Sea Bass, Scallops, Salmon, Ahi Tuna, Spicy Seafood Pasta and Del Mar Enchiladas. We were all very pleased with our choices. For our final course we enjoyed Beignets, Key Lime Pie and and an Ice cream Sundae. We look forward to visiting again in the fall for the next round of birthdays!

   It was too cold to have the garage door open by the bar. It may have been fine on the outside with the heaters but patrons inside had to deal with the breeze without heaters. Drinks were good but never received a glass of wine that was ordered. Wife’s scallops game out cold and after reheating they were only warm. Service was good with the exception of the missed glass of wine.

   We have been a long term patrons of both High Tides, we prefer the Steelyard for a little less drive. We dine out a lot, every weekend and some week days. This visit was our last try to keep a old favourite in our dining choices, We were seated on time and our server was great on time and helpful, I ordered the sea bass special and the rest of the table had a variety of entree ‘s, the appetiser was on time and great. We waited 40 minutes for a salad and my sea bass special had been under a warmer for a while, we waited approximately 5 minutes more for the rest to be served. The sea bass was black on the bottom and over done a lot. The great server was very apologetic and returned to the kitchen with the plate, minuets late she returned to say the special was sold out. Sorry not the experience we were hoping for.

   We were greeted and our reserved table was waiting for us. Our servers were warm and friendly, made great recommendations, and checked to be sure we were happy with our selections. The noise level was a little high, but it created a fun, social atmosphere. The food was plentiful, and "take home" boxes were available. But, most of all, the food was outstanding. We had a lovely time and a delicious meal. I also should comment that I have an elderly mother who uses a walker. The location was great for a front door "drop off," and the staff helped with doors and storing her walker while dining. Great place. We will return,
