   On the outside High tide Steelyard appears to be an upscale seafood restaurant. For appetizer my wife and I wanted to share the Lobster Bisque. While normally we never ask at nice restaurants, but we saw that High Tide has a variety of crustaceans on their menu, we decided to ask if the Lobster in the bisque is really lobster or is it langostino. This is a cheaper alternative then lobster but it is found in Spain and is sometimes substituted for lobster in cheaper restaurants. Usually it will say Langostino. My wife is extremely allergic to this however not allergic to Lobster. We were disappointed to find out that they use Langostino in the bisque and try to pass it off as Lobster. Sad Good thing we asked. I ordered the salmon with fingerling potatoes and green beens. The salmon was so salty i could not really eat it. The potatoes was way over cooked and could not eat that either. The only thing about the food that was decent was the ice cream that came with the bread pudding. We have been to the other High tide location before and its been average at best.

   Awesome food, great selection. Interesting variety. Friendliest staff. Bar tender made one of the best top shelf Cadillac margaritas. Waitress was most gracious, friendly lady ever met.

   I just love Tide Roast. Had the special sushi roll and the walleye. Outstanding. Shaun, our server, is always excellent.

    High Tide Steel Yard is a favorite that we frequent 1-2/month. Food is always good. Service and environment is always good. First time having fish and chips, last night....not good. Fries were not cooked completely and the fish batter was soggy making it impossible to pick up with hands or fork and knife. After one bite, just slid away the sloppy batter and ate the fish without. Our wait staff was awesome! No more fish and chips!!
