Al the experience was really good. They receive you with a lentil soup and bread, both are really good, the rice is also included with the entrees, we ordered kabobs, beef and chicken, and another dish which forgot the name but was veal meat and also very good, last a dessert, which is stuffed with cheese and you know what, it was really good, the only but was that espresso machine was broken and the alternative, Turkish coffee was not good as we expected.

Hills is always terrific. From the moment you sit down and within minutes are served this perfect lentil soup; and the apps especially the HUMMUS COMBO which is comprised of a creamy hummus trio featuring classic, beet, and spinach varieties, garnished with diced cucumber, red onion, kalamata olives, and a drizzle of olive oil. The mains knocked it out of the park. Our table had Lamb Kabob, Chicken Kabob, Sultani Kabob which included a seasoned ground beef and lamb. The rices deserve just as much attention! The Naringe made with saffron, candied orange peels, pistachios and almonds; and the Kabuli pressure cooked in lamb broth and served with steamed carrots and raisins on top... What a meal! No alcohol is served here but you can BYO. They have an extensive non-alcohol bar. Great staff, great service.

I never leave a full 5 star review anywhere. This place is never ever a disappointment for me. I love their food and it's always consistent. They are the truly the best in the area.

Great meal. Went there with my kids and enjoyed the food. The service was very friendly and felt very welcomed. Have always enjoyed our visits to Hills of Herat.
