   We visit frequently since it opened. Always good food and Amy the manager always recognises us and makes us feel welcome. Always lovely food in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff.

   A little disappointed today we have been before and didn’t enjoy it as much today. Starters were nice. Main course was ok, we had the turkey but I felt the stuffing inside the turkey wasn’t cooked and neither were the pigs in blankets. I have a lowered immune system and have to make sure the food I eat is fully cooked so I gave mine to my husband. My desert was nice, Sticky Toffee pudding but hubby had the chocolate delice which I asked the waiter to describe for me and it was not what I was expecting although it was very small he said it tasted ok. On checking the bill we had been overcharged for a bottle of Rose wine and there were only 2 to choose from. Then when we got home we realised that we didn’t have nor had been offered the fudge which was on the menu. Given that we had gone there as a celebration for our 50th Wedding anniversary I was a little disappointed.

   My husband and I visited Hinnies today for our final lunch in 2024. The food was absolutely amazing and was outstanding as always. Hinnies is a favourite of ours and we will keep returning as we struggle to find anywhere of the same standard and price anywhere else in the north east.

   First visit to Hinnies and really enjoyed it. Food was lovely and staff were really friendly. Great atmosphere.

   Service was slow and toast arrived way after rest of breakfast had been served. Granola out of a packet with no where near enough yoghurt so very dry, but bacon butty was very good as were baked eggs!

   As usual service and food was amazing.from the moment you walk in everyone is friendly and helpful and I don’t think we have ever had a bad meal there

    Food is always great - cocktails are always a little different to be interesting & price is very reasonable. We had a fab time catching up with dear friends. Oh & the Santa hats are a lovely idea. Thank you Hinnies 🎄
