Holy Basil in Croydon Victoria has a very simple vision, to bring wholesome, delicious and exciting food to the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Our dream at Holy Basil was to create an exciting diner in the Eastern suburbs where people can relax, come together, have fun and enjoy proper homemade food in a very inclusive environment.
We are proud to deliver 100% vegan and Vegetarian options at Holy Basil, use free-range eggs and source only sustainably caught seafood as well as a range of other exciting meals with 95% of the menu being gluten free.
At Holy Basil we make our own curry pastes, sauces, desserts, chilli jam, and roti.
We happily use gluten free soy and 100% pure fish sauce.
We greatly appreciate your support in choosing to dine at Holy Basil.

    We received a voucher so decided to use it, I told them it was an anniversary dinner and found a note on the table with chocolates a nice touch. The menu was delightful, the tamarind prawns was delicious as a starter. The chilli jam stir fry with chicken was yum,though it could do with less carrots. The crispy pork belly had just the right amount of heat. All in all we throughly enjoyed our meal and experience. A special thankyou to the wait staff for making our night special.

    The most divine modern Thai food we have had in Victoria. We were greeted and served by the most beautiful, kind, attentive staff. The whole ambiance was really comfortable and relaxed. Just really lovely.

    A bustling little restaurant it can be a little noisy - but amazing service and yummy food at reasonable prices. Dinner sittings start at 5pm and is 90 mins before the next sittings and you have to be out.

    Food is absolutely amazing. Staff are friendly and pay attention, you don't sit at a table with finished dishes or empty glasses for long. Very important element at restaurants which seems to be missing. Great place.
