   I usually LOVE this place. And they have always accommodated me with preferred seating and location. However, this visit was different. First, my favorite band, Dick and Jane, amped up the volume of their music so LOUD (way above 90 decibels) that you could not even talk to and hear the server or the guests seated with you. I was SOOOO disappointed that I could not enjoy myself. Due to that, some of my guests moved to an outdoor table...fortunately one was available. I also had to write my order on a piece of paper as the server was too far from me to HEAR my order. Second, my favorite entree was deleted from the menu...hangar steak and frites. And the only similar offering was a skirt steak that has very little meat..too pricey for what you get. Third, they ran out of an appetizer one of my guests ordered and did not rely this info till they served her entree. No time to reorder an alternative. I will return to the restaurant, but I will not come on Thursdays when Dick and Jane play. The other bands are just enjoyable to listen and dance to with a reasonable decibel level.

   We had a very nice experience last night for dinner. We waited a bit for service but once Randel started we were looked after beautifully. The food was excellent and plentiful. The drinks were delish and beautiful. As another review had noted, sitting on the patio is the perfect spot to enjoy the music while still having conversation with your dinner partner. The music was also great.

   Friendly and very good waiter Tyrone and other help staff attentive also. We liked Elvis. Not too loud so we could enjoy music but also converse.

   I’ve and i dine out often and last night we dined at the Larkspur and we had a phenomenal meal and exceptional service. The sword ship i had may have been the best prepared i have had in the Valley

   We went for the pre-determine 3-course Valentine's Day menu, which was priced at $99 per plate. The first two courses were delicious. However, a delicious looking "chocolate meltdown" that was advertised was not offered. Instead, the "chocolate" dessert offered was actually a very hard shelled WHITE chocolate heart filled with some kind of strawberry filling. As a big-time chocolate lover, this was a disappointment. We dined at 5pm, so this was not a case of the restaurant running out of the highlighted dessert. It simply was not offered. When we asked about it, we learned there was no chocolate option and we were not offered a credit for the uneaten dessert. I emailed the restaurant about it the next day, but no one replied. This left a bad taste in my mouth. We won't be back.

    We had a lovely lunch at Larkspur Grill and highly recommend you give them a try. We came at noon and were seated immediately. The ambiance is peaceful and relaxing and we had a nice table outside. We ordered the lobster roll and the Larkspur Grill Wrap. Both were delicious and served with fries or a side salad. The fries were the best we have had here in the desert and the sherry vinaigrette dressing on the side salad was very tasty and light. Since our main courses were so wonderful - we thought we would check out the dessert menu. It was a tough decision as all of them sounded heavenly. We shared a Chocolate Banana Cream Pie which was plenty for two and also a big hit! The mousse was light and flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. We will be back to try more on the menu! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
