It was a busy night, so the service wasn't great as our waiter had multiple tables. We had to get up a few times to get his attention. I don't know if that is an excuse but that's what we were told.... We order multiple appetizers calamari, Asian wings, crab cakes, coconut shrimp and chicken empanadas. The crab cakes were okay, but I had to send them back because they were cold. Calamari was delicious, empanadas were okay (I had better) and the wings were mediocre. I don't like coconuts, so I didn't try them. My drink was very good I had the D'usse side car (it took 20 minutes to get but it was good). Everyone enjoyed their drinks. My entree I had the oxtails (they were tasty but tough) they need to let them cook slower for longer to get tender. That Red Snapper was fire (I highly recommend)! I do recommend it. Lamb chops were good, but the Salmon was bland and a bit on the dry side. The energy in the room was amazing (a DJ was present) I am not sure if the DJ is there often. Overall had a great time, but I wish I had better service! Oh, to top it off the gratuity is included and starts at 18% but he wasn't worth that!

I’ve been to House 157 at least three times and have always had a good experience this time around my experience was not so good. They now have an endless brunch menu for 29.99 which is a good thing if the waiter comes back around in a timely manner which he didn’t. You can’t really take advantage of an all you can eat menu if the waiter comes by your table every half an hour… and your reservation is at 1:30 and the the brunch ends at 3. I will say the manager is very nice and accommodating. I explained the issues to him and he offered a free entree which we didn’t take but shots for the table… winning Move. I would go back different waiter.

The food and service were amazing, and the ambiance was great. However, the experience at the door could have been better. The young lady who greeted us could have communicated the 90-minute dining limit in a more courteous way. I understand they were busy, and in our case, it wasn’t an issue since we had a flight to catch. However, a more welcoming approach would enhance the overall experience for guests.

Had a Galentines dinner and it was great! Our server Dennis was attentive and charismatic, the DJ played a nice blend of R&B throwbacks, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, and Reggae, our food was hot & flavorful, and our drinks had us feeling good. We were pulled to the side to take individual photos with their photographer and the manager took behind the scenes videos of us while taking the photos. I was happy and most importantly my girls were happy. Will definitely recommend and return!

The food was good I guess that’s what counts. Very loud, not a fan of club music while dining. Waiter was informative and efficientt.

The place was gorgeous. There was a small place in the front to take picture with your date. The food was delicious and menu had a lot of different cuisines to pick from. The house 157 drink was tasty.

While the atmosphere and music were spectacular, the food did not live up to our expectations. I followed House 157 on Instagram, admiring all the tempting images and eagerly anticipating an incredible meal. Unfortunately, the dinner we received for two fell short of our desires. The small serving of infused collard greens and the two oddly flavored pieces of fried chicken had a burnt taste. The generous portions of macaroni and cheese and cornbread were fairly satisfying. However, after a while, our stomachs began to cramp, leaving most of our meals packed up to take home. Since we don't drink alcohol, we also ordered tap water, which I doubt was what the establishment expected. It's safe to say that a well-crafted marketing plan attracted me, and I felt deeply disappointed and embarrassed for inviting my guest to House 157 for a night out. Unfortunately, this will be our first and last experience of this sort, or perhaps it was just an off night for House 157. Either way, it doesn't live up to the hype, and I don't think we're willing to endure it again.👎

This was my 2nd time visiting and my experience has been great both times. The staff is very pleasant, attentive and accommodating. I must say that I received STELLAR service both of my visits. The ambience is so relaxing and the DJ added to the experience by playing a variety of songs suitable for the mature audience.
