We had high hopes for Thanksgiving at Humphreys, but unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. Despite making reservations for a table by the window and dining at 4:15 to ensure fresh food, we were seated near the door, where it was cold, and the food we encountered was also cold—especially the featured turkey. Approximately 75% of the dishes appeared to have been sitting out for hours, making them look unappetizing. The cold drafts from the open doors only worsened the issue. While the spicing was flavorful, it was hard to enjoy due to the lack of freshness and cold temperatures of many dishes. For a $250 meal, the quality of service and food dynamics felt substandard. The waiter struggled to make a simple dessert recommendation when asked, which diminished the service experience further. Although there was an omelet and pasta bar, the language barrier made it difficult to get clear instructions on how the pasta bar worked. I ended up with a leftover dish intended for someone else who spoke Spanish. Overall, this meal did not meet the standards we expected for the price and reputation of Humphreys.

I was really looking forward to having a nice Thanksgiving dinner at Humphreys especially since the spread of foods sounded amazing and for $95 a person, I had the expectation of great tasting food. From the spread I chose the following: Turkey, ham, scalloped potatoes, roasted veggies, cornbread stuffing, candied yams, salad, a bite size brownie and a bite sized berry cheese cake. First- the turkey (dark meat) and ham were both dried out and cold. The turkey was so hard I couldn’t even cut into it. The gravy offered was just awful. The ham was in small shriveled up pieces- you weren’t given a whole slice. The scalloped potatoes were ok. There was a lot of cheese on top which I scrapped off. A lot of people asked the servers where the mashed potatoes were and were bummed when told there was only scalloped potatoes. The menu stated as such though. Roasted veggies were a little undercooked. The butternut squash (at least I think that’s what it was) was hard as a rock. Cornbread stuffing was great but if you wanted gravy on them, well, like I said- it was awful. The candied yams were good. A little too much cinnamon for my taste but I still ate them. The salad was mixed greens, apple, cheese and vinaigrette. It was good. There was no pumpkin pie when I went to get a piece so I got the brownie and cheesecake bites. Both were pretty tasteless. If I were blindfolded I wouldn’t be able to tell you what I was eating from the flavor. As for my husband- he got the prime rib which he said was ok but cold. The au jus wasn’t good. The best thing to him was the mac and cheese. We each had two cocktails and our bill came to $260. Not worth it at all. I’ll be making a little thanksgiving dinner tonight to make up for the horrible dinner we had last night.

The food was average nothing was GREAT. I guess when you have to cook buffet style for so many people that's what happens. Next year I'll do the work and eat at home with leftovers to look forward to.

Service was very friendly and accommodating. Seating was very comfortable. Food was pretty subpar for $95 price tag. Have been at this thanksgiving buffet one time before a couple years ago, and today’s food was pretty meh compared to last time.

The restaurant was going to put us in a separate place which was an extended section of the establishment. This was a cold place and we asked for a place inside the main section. There was no table for 7 of us. After complaining and talking to the manager, they gave us two separate boots but next to each other. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. However, we’d be hesitant to go back.
