Our servers Pam and Britney were the most amazing, without being phony servers ever . Professional without being stuffy and attentive without hovering. It was my husbands 75th birthday and I wanted him to feel as special as he always makes me feel. He was ecstatic. We started with oysters (excellent), along with the escargot lobster. Great twist on a classic. Then we shared the wedge. Equally enjoyable. My husband loves lobster and steak. So I opted to toss the black card out and treat him to 2 dinners, twin lobster tails, plus the delmonico with 4oz tails. I went for the twin pork chops. What a treat. Everything was perfectly prepared and the chef outdid himself with the depth of flavors. Our sides were baked potato with cheese and butter, asparagus and spinach and mushrooms. Then the manager treated us to the no flour chocolate cake and cheese cake. The meal was insane. A bit pricy with our numerous cocktails but you only turn 75 once. We will be back.

It was a great experience. It’s located in a big hotel lobby. Lots of people. Convention was in town. Having reservations made it simple and easy. Also, use the valet parking. It’s free with dinner.

Waited ~15mins to be acknowledged after sitting at an available bar top during HH. HH service was ok after the initial wait. Service in the dining room was fantastic but both entrees were over done (medium well burger that came out well done and a medium steak that came out medium well). The quality of the food was good but the preparation fell short.

Great meal from the start , we had the seafood platter excellent, dinners steaks were great , chicken Milanese fabulous. Martini’s what you should get at an upscale restaurant. Overall fabulous meal. No need to go anywhere else.

Christmas Eve Dinner engagement. Everyone was amazing except for 1 waiter not servicing our table. I was preparing to propose to my sweetheart at the end of diner and moved my chair closer to her to be more intimate for the moment and I know I was in the isle but it was going to be a brief moment and I was rudely interrupted a server immediately while I was prosing. I completely understood why but the rudeness of this individual was completely uncalled for. As an attempt to briefly explain the purpose of my position was to propose. I moved my chair back and lightly tapped the server on the should to request his attention and a brief moment to explain he immediately got defensive and abruptly DO NOT TOUCH ME. I apologized by my approach was not to offend or make a scene but everyone else around us noticed his demeanor. I explained what I was preparing to do and he responded too bad you are not going to block the isle way. I quickly realized this serve was going to create a scene so due to the nature of the situation I would step away and return to my sweetheart and finish my proposal. Later our servers and the manager came to apologize and offer a free desert and anything else the could do to make the best of the moment. I am grateful for all the service and the manager’s attention to make the best of moment that was to be very a positive romantic moment for us. We are from Columbus, Ohio where there are 3 amazing Hyde Park Restaurants and we usually dine during special family moments and frequent romantic dates and will continue to dine at those locations where we are a valued customer and provided superior service and exceptional food. Maybe this server was having a bad day but he had no right to destroy our evening with in a split second. I truly hope management will address this servers behavior and not allow him to ruin another couples special moment. If the manager of this location in Daytona Beach received this review I’m sure he will know.

We had great service from Joe & John. Food excellent prepared perfectly. We sat in a curve booth with very bright light above. For a high end steakhouse restaurant as Hyde Psrk lighting should not be bright like a diner. Suggest putting lower watt bulbs in booth areas along walk. Love Hyde Park.
