This place probably had the best steak I've ever eaten. Our server,John, was very attentive and informative about the menu. Everything was delicious. I would have rated this restaurant with all 5's if not for the extremely noisy table next to us whose language was offensive at times ( not the restaurant's fault).

Lobster appetizer escargot style was a disappointment. They brought the entrees out without clearing the appetizer dishes first...rookie mistake.

To paraphrase Eva Green in "Casino Royale", "There are steakhouses and there ARE steakhouses, this (Hyde Park Steakhouse) is the latter" Impeccable customer service from engaging servers...our steaks were perfectly prepared, and we really liked the au gratin potatoes....nice selection of cab wines and the individual French press service for coffee was perfect. Hyde Park has now replaced another top Sarasota restaurant as our "go to" when we visit Sarasota

We will definitely return. Service was very slow to start but finally a second waiter came and took our orders. From that point on it was all uphill. Second server was wonderful, food came quickly and was delicious. All 4 people in our party loved their meals. Looking forward to our next visit.

Looking for a great place to eat while in town? Come here this is one of the Great ones in the City beside Ocean Prime from Ohio. Definitely recommend it.

Best Steakhouse I’ve been to in a long time. A5 Wagyu strip came was accompanied by its certificate of authenticity, then perfectly prepared. Service was outstanding
