   We found the Christmas Eve fixed price dinner at Il Piatto to be overpriced and average at best ($75/person). Better food can be found nearby in the same price range or better (e.g., check out Stan's for amazing food and much better pricing). On top of the average food and service, the restaurant adds a 20% service charge to the meal (making our $75 entrees become $90...totally not worth it). They do say that tipping is optional after that large service charge, but it was unexpected and not clearly disclosed on the menu. We only noticed it once the bill arrived. We will not be back and don't recommend this establishment to others. I believe they are offering the same fixed price meal on New Year's Eve...please go somewhere else.

   Delicious and great service! The bottomless mimosas and brunch special for 40.00 is a great deal.

   I took my team out for a holiday lunch and unfortunately the service was horrible. From the time we checked in (with reservations) the person at the front couldn’t find my reservation, after repeating my name 3x he found it. My name is Ana not difficult… we were seated and ordered fairly quickly. Our appetizers came and then for 45 minutes nothing… no waitress, no refills on soda or water until I asked where our food was. Another 5 minutes pass and no word from our waitress. We ask for a manager for an update and another 10 minutes pass before our food arrives. Numerous parties have been sat after us and are eating at this point including a large group on 10. Apology from manager did not seem sincere. Ended up taking our main dishes to go as we ran out of time. Our main dishes were comped but sadly our experience having a nice holiday meal was ruined by bad service. Advice to restaurant: be transparent and communicate. If the order wasn’t put in stuff happens… but avoiding our table and being dismissive is not how you treat customers.

   I’ve always loved this place. I’m not sure if it is under new management or what, but the service was TERRIBLE! My office went there for a holiday lunch. We arrived at 1:00 and didn’t get out until 3:00! We repeatedly had to request more water and often the server was nowhere to be seen. This restaurant now charges a 20% fee to pay their employees, this is not a tip and they say tips are not expected, but appreciated. Perhaps the lack of service is because they do not work for tips anymore. If I ever go back, I will make sure I have time and maybe I will eat at the bar where I know I will get good service.
