   I love their bottomless brunch! Would love if the limoncello desert would come back because that is my friends and Is favorite desert.

   Cacio e Pepe was good but not made with the pepper IN the pasta. Instead it was just sprinkled on top. A bit disappointing. Susana was excellent server.

   There is a 20% charge for “service” that goes to the restaurant and not the waiter. You still have to tip on top of that. The service was good but the food was average. Glad we went, but won’t be returning.

   Had dinner here last night, a slow Tuesday in February, and the restaurant was far from full or busy. Yet, our server barely paid any attention to us. Service was either too fast or way too slow. Our appetizer came barely a few minutes after ordering; we shared arrancini, which were soggy and tasteless. Our server never bothered to refill our wine glasses, even though we had ordered a bottle, which was on the table. And yet she seemed in a hurry to clear plates as soon as one of us was finished -- which is terribly rude to do while the rest of use were still eating. And the we were ignored for so long we finally had to get up to flag her down for the check. With so many other really good Italian restaurants in DC my advice is to SKIP this one!

   People need to be aware that the restaurant automatically adds 20% to your bill. Servers only get 2% or that. Therefore, to tip your server & eat a meal, you will pay an additional 35-40%.

   I planned a birthday experience for my daughter and her friends and the staff did an amazing job in accommodating them and helping to celebrate her. The food was delicious , the servers were responsive and very kind. It truly made my daughter experience a memorable one. Thank you

   Don’t waste your time or money. Terrible experience at Saturday bottomless brunch. Awful service, food was sub par, mimosas were weak and they ran out of orange juice so they only had strawberry and pina colada flavor. We indicated that we were celebrating a birthday on the reservation and at check in and got not even a desert. Terrible experience do not recommend!

    Always a consistently good experience. I enjoy Il Piatto. Nice restaurant, attentive staff, good food. And not normal DC expensive.My go to place
