If pizza is your thing the margherita pizza with fior di latte mozzarella takes you back to the wonderful pizzas in Northern Italy. The swordfish was outstanding. The service superior. What else could you want.

The patio at I’ll Brito is magical-;a twinkle light wrapped tree shaded the whole Area and the tables and chairs are sturdy and comfortable. Our ever was knowledgeable about the wines and brought a Taster to our dinner partners so they could confirm her opinion I’ve had the mussels before And they are very good- a large portion., well pared with the off-the menu bread.

The ambiance was chic and inviting environment especially with the light live music in the background. The food was delicious. You can tell the pasta was made fresh and in house. We ordered the steak that was the house special that night and it was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. A bit pricey for the appetizers considering the portions but overall nothing more you’d expect in an upscale restaurant in Austin. What truly disappointed me were the cocktails and lack of fresh fruit behind the bar. I ordered a spicy margarita, they did not have fresh jalapeño but were able to use bitters, but it was too tart for me to truly enjoy it. When I asked for a refreshing cocktail with some kind of fresh aspect to it, the server informed me they didn’t have any fresh ingredients such as herbs or fruit at the bar, so I stuck with wine. Overall, I would give the overall experience anywhere from a 4-4.5 stars and would recommend to go.

In my humble opinion, this is quite possibly the best restaurant in Austin right now. Definitely one of the best. The ambience is great, the architecture is nice, the lighting is flattering in case you're going for a date, and the food is out of this world. They are really well put together dishes that you're not gonna get somewhere else, and/or you won't get it that way somewhere else. And the bar is just as much a part of the restaurant as the kitchen is. If you love booze, definitely sit at the bar. The bartenders are so knowledgeable and you can tell they enjoy what they do and the vermouth menu is fantastic. It sounds cliche but it really is more than a restaurant it is an experience. My husband and I came here on a date, we both work outside and make very middle class wages, and so yes it is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. I think if we were a little more well off though, these prices would seem really reasonable for the level of quality that you get. Definitely bring decently nice clothes as most of the clientele seems upscale. Do not sleep on this place! Go if you can!!!

Bottarga + Sea Urchin was deliciously rich, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Cacio e Pepe couldn’t be more perfect as well. For the Dolci I recommend the Apricot + Vermouth Raisins Sorbetto. Host and waitress were both friendly and welcoming. Live music to set the mood. Decently priced for the high quality of the food. 10/10 recommend.

We had never heard of Il Brutto but had read that the food was good so we decided to give it a try for my son's 24th birthday. I was somehow expecting a "dive" but it was the opposite. The atmosphere is beautiful, very appealing from the moment you walk up. There were white lights outside and the inside decor was modern and warm. I had a reservation and we were taken right to our seat. I had a glass of cabernet blend that was very good, just what I asked for. My son tried the martini of the day. He loved it. It came in a very appealing display with a little baby carafe of extra drink to refill his glass. We got the burrata and tomato salad along with the "bread" (pizza dough) and the two together were magnificent. We probably could have stopped there. My son ordered the squid ink pasta. It was kind of strange but he liked it. (I wouldn't recommend it). I had the lamb ragu pasta and it was rich and delicious. Our meal was around $140 before tip, on the expensive side, but we were very happy with the experience and the food. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Ovearall it was a great experience.
