   When we arrived - we were 3 plus another 2 ladies arrived just before us. Rest of the restaurant was empty. we had made reservations. They placed us right beside the other ladies - so tight that one of us had to go around to sit down as could not get through on side she was going to sit on. We asked to be moved - they said not possible. The Brunch was great - but we really wonder about cleanliness and sanitization. Myself and my sister saw the waitress take the creamer from our table that we had used and gave it to the ladies beside us. One of my sisters had ordered pancakes. It came with a 1/2 a pint of maple syrup - not sure what anyone would do with that amount of syrup. anyway when it appeared we were finished the waitress took the maple syrup - got a new spoon and dish to put the 1/2 pint of syrup on and brought to another table!!! Really! We are horrified that others may have used ours too. I don't know if this is the Waitress being lazy to have to go to the kitchen to get or the restaurants way for saving money. They could save money by providing a much smaller container for the maple syrup. At this point not sure we will return or recommend.

   Mains and drinks were very good. Dessert was a bit disappointing , especially the lava cake (marshmallow need to be melted more and the chocolate cake was more like a chocolate “goo”)

   Our first return visit to an Il Fornello restaurant in over 20 years!! Everything other than ambiance was outsanding!! From service to quality of food, Il Fornello is definitely a place we would visit again. Martinis were outstanding! Appetizers were delicious! Our server Chau was very knowledgeable and friendly. Only constructive criticism is that the view of the mall entrance should be blocked. We sat by the fireplace and bar and that was great. But looking at the mall entrance was not the greatest view. It took away from the ambiance of the restaurant. Not going to stop us from going again though. It was great!!

   My second time here and surprised by the service. Server was abrupt and curt. Did not make for a good evening overall. Also had to keep looking out for her and when she did come to our table she was rushed and we seem to be inconveniencing her. My first experience was much better than this.

   Excellent service. Bella, our server was attentive & friendly. Pizza & pasta are very well crafted. Highly recommend this authentic Italian restaurant.

   The ambience was lovely. The service, above average! I found my penne gummy, as if it had been half cooked and then later cooked again? The sauce was delicious. The salad was excellent. Really enjoyed the Aria salad.

   Food is excellent. There open kitchen concept is really nice. They have a great pizza wood oven. I highly recommend putting this restaurant on your list. Well priced menu and lots of selection.

    Excellent new year eve dinner, food taste and portion is very good, drinks high quality, servers are friendly and work hard. The prices are reasonable ( 2 main veal dishes with potatoes and veggies for two people excluding drinks CAD 74.00). The decor is modern and warm and overall great dining experience and deserves the visit. This location at Erin Mills has plenty of free parking as the restaurant is located inside the small mall in the plaza, entrance is easy to find.
