From Joseph and Esther DeQuattro of Pane Vino and Il Massimo of Federal Hill comes the much anticipated Il Massimo at Legacy Place. Il Massimo brings the quintessential Italian trattoria to Dedham, Massachusetts.

At IL Massimo we are proud to offer a seasonal Italian menu inspired by the regional cuisines of Italy. Signature dishes include Spaghettoni alla Carbonara with guanciale and a farm fresh egg, Point Judith Calamari en Padella, and the Pesce al Guazzetto with fresh local fish and little neck clams.

I was greeted by CJ at the door with a very warm welcome. Smiling and happy. This tells me that I will have an amazing experience even before I was seated. My waitress, Bennie, was attentive from beginning to end. Very friendly service throughout. Food was hot and amazing. My daughter ordered Anatra and I ordered the Braicola di Maiale. Both were delicious. The duck was tender and the pork chop was cooked just right. Portions were more than enough, and we had to take some home. Highly recommended, if you haven’t been to Il Massimo (Dedham) before. You might get lucky and CJ will greet you warmly upon arrival and will occasionally stop by to see how you are doing. Absolutely fantastic dinner service. Thank you CJ and the amazing hospitality

Karissa was an excellent server! Very bubbly and happy which made us feel great on New Years Day! The food was delicious (chicken parm, penne vodka sauce, pork chop) and the drinks were excellent as well (try the blood orange cosmo!) Definitely will be back!

We had a very nice new years brunch. The host and our waiter Hayden was great! Everything was delicious, especially the espresso martinis! Thank you for the nice rounded booth! Happy New year!

Amazing New Years Day brunch and lunch! Excellent! Can’t wait to return for a nice dinner! Beyond our expectation. Bolognese delicious as well as French Toast and Short rib hash. Great cappuccino too!

From appetizers to entrees our meals were absolutely delicious. And on top of that, the service was professional and cordial, thank you for affording us the ability to chat while we enjoyed our meals. This has become one of my go to restaurants; you will not be dissappointed. I do recommend a reservation, but frankly, if you're able to sit at the bar or one of the high tops; the service there as well is impeccable.
