   Dish was bland. Never got a refill our water despite asking and being acknowledged. Aggressively mediocre experience but that pretty much sums up cuisine in SoMD anyway.

   We’ve eaten here several times and each meal has been delicious. Tonight we started with the Caprese Salad, which had just enough balsamic and basil to enhance the flavor of the tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. For our main course we had Tuscan Seafood pasta, one of the evening specials, and Shrimp Scampi. The Tuscan Seafood pasta had clams, muscles, shrimp and crab meat in a wonderful cajun alfredo sauce, all over linguini. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the cajun spice was enough to add some spice without dominating the delicate flavor of the seafood. The shrimp scampi was served in a delightful garlic butter sauce and paired with with pasta. For desert a light and airy limoncello mascarpone cake. Service was great and while the restaurant was busy, it was not noisy. We will definitely go back again.

   Wonderful food and great service. Loved it! It’s a well managed establishment and Leonardtown continues to offer a very nice environment to enjoy a night out!

   Excellent food and we really enjoyed getting to know our server. Everything was fresh and delicious My husband had the red snapper and I had the rigatoni. His fish and vegetables were divine and my pasta was some of the best I’ve had. Portions were generous.

   Lovely night celebrating New Year's Eve. The staff members are exceptional. There is an extensive cocktail, beer, and wine menu. The dinner options are varied and always delicious. The Caeser salad has home made dressing and is shareable. Every meal is a joy.

   We had another wonderful dinner with friends who had never been to IL Piccolo. They loved it as much as we always do. The server was well experienced, friendly, and attentive. The cocktails and Ceasar salads were fresh and delicious. All four entrees( gnocchi, eggplant, mushroom ravioli, and fish of the day) came at just the right time, piping hot and quite tasty!

    We ate at IPM for Christmas Eve and though they were busy, everything was excellent. Our table was ready when we walked in the door. Food was hot and delicious and the wait was reasonable. Our server was knowledgeable and gave us just the right amout of attention. Highly recommend.
