   Excellent Italian food. Great ambiance and service. Easy to find and park. Great location. We had the lasagne and started with the burrata salad with heirloom tomatoes. Highly recommend.

   Our great experiences with two different dinners (one with 6 of us) started with the wonderful hostess. Our server, Karla, was so attentive to our needs and lots of fun. The bread, beet salad, pear salad, ravioli, beef short ribs, and chicken fettuccine were all outstanding. Splitting an entree works great. There was live music playing softly that added so much to the ambience. we highly recommend!

   Very nice place. It was a little empty the night we were there, but it feels like it has a nice ambiance. The food was great and the service even better.

   Everything was outstanding from the quality of food, exceptional service, and large wine selection. We’ve eaten here several times and will continue to do so on our travels to the area.

   We love this new restaurant. The food is delicious -There is something for everyone!! The service is excellent. A new found treasure in San Jose.

   It was great! The service was very good as well, very attentive. The shrimp and the sirloin steak were perfectly cooked and the flavors were yummy! We sat outside, not much of a view but was still nice. We also had the Caesar salad, grilled mixed veggies and the brussel sprouts. We were asked if we wanted bread, got it and then were charged for it! That was a little bit of a deception I thought. We will go back however

   This was our second visit to this restaurant, and we had a fantastic evening. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we enjoyed the live music. The wine list is extensive and enhances the experience nicely. The food was good; I particularly loved the Beef Carpaccio. I wasn't too thrilled about the carbonara I had—it was decent but lacked that punch of flavor. I recommend this place for any evening; I also appreciate its location.

   My pasta and meatball dish was just ok. The lasagna was excellent. If we go back that’s what I’ll be getting. The shrimp bisque that was off menu was great as was the bread basket.

    Delicioso. Delizioso. Délicieux. Oishii. Köstlich. Whichever language you choose, Il Splendido is delicious! Wonderful contemporary Italian cuisine. Ambience and service is perfection. The beef carpaccio is so beautifully presented you don’t want to eat it but trust me you will and it will melt in your mouth with a delicate texture and flavors that make you close your eyes and smile. The pomodoro is fresh and vibrant. The pastas are perfectly cooked. The mixologists are in a league of their own. Sit. Eat. Repeat. That’s what I will be doing. Mangia!
