We have the perfect space for your private event! You will work directly with our head chefs and event coordinator to create your ideal menu, plus we have two separate dining areas to fit your party. Our "Wine Cellar on the Beach" can host events up to 18 people for an intimate gathering, or you have the option to rent the entire restaurant for special events. From baby showers to receptions to family reunions and beyond, we've got the space and menu. We can also do full service event planning, including the flowers, decorations. We want to make your event easy and enjoyable!

Fish purchased daily from local fishermen, which ensures it’s very fresh. I had Black Drum with a creamy dill sauce, one of the best fish dinners I’ve had in a long time. I paired this with fried spinach (a house specialty) and garlic grits which went perfectly with the fish. This is the best fish restaurant in Melbourne.

This was our first time dining at Island Fish Grill and we were delighted. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Our server took his time explaining the menu to us and answered our questions. The dinners came to us nicely plated and the fish was prepared wonderfully. Everything taste great and the fried spinach was a true treat. Unfortunately we didn’t have room to try the dessert options. We will definitely be back in the future.

Dinner was fantastic. Service was wonderful. My only gripe was the noise. It’s a small dining room with tons of conversations. All in all, a really good date night!!

It was exceptional as always! Great service, most delicious food preparation as always. The fish is exceptional, fresh caught and prepared the way you want. We love dining at Island fish grill. We paired our meal with a delicious bottle of Caymus Cabernet. Thank you again for making our dinner a wonderful experience. Sincerely Caroline
