Lovely view, but that was about it. The gnocchi and linguine we ordered both had no flavour at all. They also forgot about us, although did give us a free garlic bread for this. Very disappointing as we were so looking forward to some nice Italian food

Traditional carbonara was amazing, homemade pasta and egg, sorbet was amazing. A real Meg Ryan experience, great food and service.

The staff were so incredibly rude, My daughter was unwell and had thrown up something she couldn’t help and instead of being sympathetic and understanding the lady behind the counter was rude, shouting at a member of our party and horrible when we had to get our food to go. The food to go was very average, lacked taste and the chicken undercooked so inedible. Incredibly disappointing as we have been coming here for years and always loved it, but never again.

Booking a group or dining alone, Isola di Capri is just a no brainer : the food is always amazing, with a great choice of menu items, but even 'ordinary' choices - say a Margherita pizza - are fabulous quality, making the experience really great. It's a brilliant location, right over the road from the bay, and you always feel like you're welcomed and looked after like family.

On a hot evening we booked an inside aircon table, but when we arrived the windows were open and it was stuffy/warm. And there were flies around the table.
