   A delightful restaurant in an improbable place. Good food, fair prices, special ambience, efficient cheerful service. More than worth the hour drive from San Diego. For more great scenery, drive Rt. 94 out, take Rt. 8 home. Longer, curvier but a great day's excursion. Highly recommended.

   We loved the restaurant and bar a lot! I drank through all three of their non-alcoholic drink options and enjoyed them all. My partner had canned Modelos while we were in the restaurant. At the bar, he ordered a Cab Franc at the bar but noted that something was at the bottom of his glass--maybe a sliver of cork? The bartender was kind enough to replace that glass with a new one of Cab Sauv. In the restaurant, we ordered lamb meatballs, guacamole, Imperial Ceasar Salad, pozole, burger, wings, and fries between three different visits to the restaurant and bar. All options were delish! I was able to utilize the $75 food credit that came with my reservation, but was still happy to pay extra for eating and drinking their offerings! Also, I thought I'd be able to enjoy breakfast after checkout at 11am, but the breakfast menu changes to lunch after 11am M-F. Just a heads-up for other folks reading through these review before visiting. I appreciate the intentionality of the ingredients, dishes, drinks, decorations, and aesthetic for the bar and restaurant so much. I can't wait for the next time I'm here.

   An absolute magical oasis with amazing staff, ambience and delicious flavor profiles. We’ll be going back and hopefully make it, at least, an overnight stay.

   We love to dine here. We didn’t know that when we made reservations that it was a preset Valentines menu. We had hoped that would’ve been on the website. One of the starters listed was Charcuterie (meat and cheese) but there wasn’t any meat. The main dinner was outstanding! We chose ribeye. One of the dessert’s we chose was a lemon ginger cheesecake which came to the table frozen. That was disappointing. We took the cheesecake home and attempted to eat it the next day. It was awful! We will continue to dine here as we love the main menu and the ambiance.

   Food, service and ambiance was great! Enjoyed dinner and brunch. Highly recommend the Ribeye (if you like salt) and the french toast for brunch, it’s the best I’ve ever had!

    Decorated beautifully and loved the experience. The record player in the room was fun. Really hadn’t noticed there was no television:) Listened to band Blank Tapes in the bar. Side note: if towels run out they can be found at checkin desk.
