    Great restaurant! Food was delicious. Our server was fantastic with his suggestions. The dessert was spot on! Loved the old architecture of the building. It was a little bit loud for us but it was Friday night. They also had separate menus for gluten free/vegan options so that was appreciated. Will definitely be going back!

    A unique dining experience surrounded by the mechanical apparatus of over a century ago. The special ambience and eclectic menu makes for a special outing. Our meals were delicious, portions were large and the service friendly and attentive. We truly enjoyed.

    This is my first visit to the James Avenue Pumphouse. We made a reservation 2 months in advance since they are always booked. We went before our play at MTC. It is really nice in there, lots of windows and I loved the ambiance at night. I had the schnitzel chicken sandwich and my friend at the burger, we both enjoyed our meals. My only complaint was that does or a side was al a carte, just had 4.00 to the meal and provide a side. It was also quite loud in there but they had some bigger tables and that happens. Would definitely go back, maybe in the summer to eat outside. Seeing the old pumphouse is so cool.

    Great service, and the food was very good. As it was a Wednesday, not crowded at all, no rushing. Reasonable prices, and an interesting historical ambiance. Enjoyed by all.

    Amazing! Dinner was incredible, I am celiac and had the mussels as a sharable and the tacos Pollo as my main. Food tasted amazing, came quickly. We loved it and will definitely go back. The only downfall was finding parking
