Food was incredible; we were very happy with everything that came. However, our experience was ruined a bit by how slow the service was. Staff were polite enough but we were waiting a long time for every single aspect.

If you have plans after dinner, give yourself extra time. Understand restaurants don’t always control when guests finish and free a table, but we (and at least two other parties near us) were seated nearly 30 minutes after our reservation was scheduled to start. We initially planned a 90 minute window to eat and get to the theatre next door, but due to the delay, our waitress advised to limit our selection to only three of the mains on the menu, none of which we were initially considering. That said, the food was fine and the staff expedited our meal as best the could to get us out quickly. The ambiance was nice and its certainly centrally located just outside Covent Garden. I’ll consider returning, but likely not before a theatre show.

This restaurant has very cleverly got everything just right - great, focussed menu (not extensive enough to be overwhelming and selective enough to give confidence that dishes will be prepared with care and precision). Warm welcome on arrival - so important - and a great feeling of being in a high end cocktail bar, whilst being in a comfortable and atmospheric restaurant. Attentive service (our server Preeti was knowledgeable and friendly) and delicious food, plus refreshing cocktails and a well chosen wine list. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Jamie has delivered a brilliant spot for lunch, dinner or just a light meal and a nice place to socialise.

Our first time at the restaurant and we were so impressed with the decor! It was a birthday celebration and we started with cocktails, shared a delicious salad with blood oranges and burrata! Complimented with a lovely white wine. Then had the amazing porterhouse steak to share along with a lush Nero d’Avola red wine! Rounded off with coffee and liqueur! What really made our evening was the attentive staff. John, our waiter, was outstanding and we told him so! Such service and great advice either way wine choices! We look forward to another visit!
