   We had a fabulous afternoon meal with great food and service. Our server was outstanding! She helped us with recommendations and delivered everything with cheer and care. The meat pie is one of the best I have ever had and my wife had the pork chop to great delight. We saved room for excellent desserts. There are so many good choices on the menu, the place begs for a return visit. Well done, everyone!

   Nice place but could have done with a bit of chill background music - I think there was some music in the background but hardly noticeable. Simple menu but covered all the bases - nice gravadlax and prawn cocktail starter - chicken main was good but pastry a bit thick - lovely sticky toffee pudding. Service was impeccable - not overbearing and right there when you needed something. Just needs to go up a notch on the ambience as it’s a big space.

   At first, the service was excellent. The food was really good, especially the ribs pie with the bone and the turkey. The venue is beautiful!

   Despite the delayed getting the table and had to wait for 15 mins, the manager went above by offer complimentary drinks as an apology. Small touches that make the different. Very good comfort food, and good quality. Attentive staff and friendly. Definitely will go back again.

   The venue is great, lovely atmosphere and staff We had the scallops which are £8 a scallop, nice but not amazing. Very clean and simple presentation, maybe a bit too simple given the price The game bolognaise and the trout were great - my wife’s turkey wellington should have been amazing but the pastry was burnt and the turkey dry, as were the accompanying Brussels. Yes we did say something, yes we were offered a replacement dish but who wants to hang about 20mins whilst everyone else eats The dish simply should not have exited the kitchen. Appreciate it doesn’t have a Michelin star, but you would expect any head chef to have spotted this problem The staff were lovely but not that attentive. Was hard to get attention and when offered extra gravy to try make the turkey less dry it took 10mins by which time everything was cold Should have been amazing, ended up disappointing, sorry Jamie, love you and what you do but little things need some attention.

    What a lovely afternoon a dear friend & I had at Jamie Oliver’s-St Catherine St was today! We were warmly welcomed & shown to a very comfortable table. The menu was excellent, not huge but there were good choices for me as a vegetarian & my meat-eater friend. We went for two different “nibbles” to start off - the aged Parmesan was a sublime addition! I had the risotto & every mouthful was savoured. My friend had the game pasta dish & she loved it. We also had the hash-brown chips with truffle mayonnaise- AMAZING! The portion sizes were good so we decided against selecting any of the divine puddings. A lovely afternoon. We both would recommend Jamie Oliver’s -St Catherine’s.
