   Happened upon Jane Bistro & Bar on our first trip to Hilton Head. Had a drink called the Vibe, and it definitely was named appropriately. So refreshing! I had the beef stroganoff which was so good, I’m still thinking about it the next morning. So many flavors, I would say it’s a comfort food, if that’s what you’re looking for. My husband had Mama’s freakin meatloaf, best meatloaf he’s ever had. We’ll be back!

   This is a popular lunch spot in Hilton head that was fully booked for Presidents’ Day. The service was very slow and one member of our party never received his full order although I am confident he was charged for it.

   Our third time eating at Jane and it will be our last. I'm not sure why people recommend it because every time we've tried it, it's worse than the previous one. This time, we had a reservation on Valentine's Day. Expected it to be busy and it was - but waiting 15 minutes for a reserved table is unacceptable. Once we were seated, we waited another 10 minutes for the server to even come by to bring us water. After receiving our drink orders, the server made it clear we should order our food quickly - so much so that we didn't even know there were any specials til we overheard another server providing them to a nearby table. Oh well. No napkins or silverware til after our food arrived. We were never offered another round of drinks. Food was so-so. My husband ordered the smash burger which was clearly a freezer product that had just been reheated and was inedible. My pasta was ok but nothing I would order again. Taking Jane off the list for the future, that's for sure!

   Always a great experience here! Food quality, taste, presentation is great. Try Mama’s meatloaf or shriimp & grits….and a Pharmacist for your beverage. Not cheap but not too pricey either. Great value point. Awesome.

    Food was very good, it was a popular event night, so very full. Had to wait for a table about 10 minutes with a reservation. Service was good given very full of customers. Would give it a five stars instead of four if the acoustics were a bit better. It was loud and a bit difficult to have private conversation. Orher than that, it was great and I will definitely go back, but would choose a quieter evening.
